Switzerland

Switzerland is one of the three nations that founded the IFF and an early adopter of the floorball game. A lot of people thought that Switzerland would be in the WFC-final 2004 but the Swiss team lost to the Czech Republic in the semifinal and then to Finland in the bronze match. In the European Cup 2005 the Swizz teams showed everybody that Switzerland will be a serious contender in Sweden 2006 as Wiler Ersigen beat the Swedish Champions Pixbo Wallenstam to become European champions - the first time a Swiss team has won the EC.
