The birth place of Floorball. The country with the largest number of players and clubs. The defending world champions. There is no doubt that the pressure is hard on the Swedish team to win the WFC2006 at home ground and also to match the experience and crowds of the WFC1996. Sweden won their fifth straight Championship title in Switzerland 2004 but since then have not managed to beat Finland. Sweden are still favourites to win the WFC2006 but the Finnish, Czech and Swiss teams are all eager to dethrone the Swedes.
