Russia

When will we see a Russian floorball team in the WFC semifinals? A lot of people have thought through the years that with the traditions for hockey and similar sports in Russia it would only be a matter of time before Russia becomes a world power in floorball as well. But so far that has not happened. In 2000 Russia was relegated to the B-division but got right back into the A-division. At the WFC2004 Russia beat Latvia but lost the rest of the games and ended up playing for the 7th place (beat Germany). How will the Russian team do in Solna?
